Waves of love “Mogachi Lahran”, is a house hold name in Konkani music world. Vincent Fernandes Cascia, creator of Mogachi Lahran has created waves in Konkani music world, with love songs such as Moga Mun Apoitholo, Lavina, Ani Maka, Dis Raat Chitnani, Elvira, Radha, Lara etc.
Recently, Vincent launched is own musical band Mogachi Lahran. It is to give pure Konkani music and to spread the love through music to the community, he said. Former ‘Mr World’, Raymond D’Souza, who was on his visit to Dubai, inaugurated the band and also appreciated Vincent Fernande, for his contribution to the music world and wished the band members all success. Mogachi Lahran band is a blend of youth and experience.
Alwyn Mendonca, well known music composer, lead guitarist, singer, will play and lead the team. He has also composed the music for Vincent’s Mogachi Lahran Volume 6, that will be released shortly. Noted and experienced music teacher Norbert, will play the key board and is all set to share his experience.
Experienced and founder of Harmony beat group Roshan Vas, will play bass guitar. Drums and Rhythm section handled by young and energetic Binal. Vincent Fernandes, up and coming Sharon Rego and experienced singer Melwyn D’Souza and Uttam Menezes will be the lead singers, and will share their experience in Konkani, Kannada, Hindi and other regional numbers. Yona Fernandes, another up and coming singer and trained vocalist will sing western numbers. On the whole, Mogachi Lahran band is a mixture of young and experienced people, and is all set to entertain everyone on all occasions.
Mogachi Lahran will also cater services like arranging MC, DJ, hall decorations and other requirements.
