‘Tum Sobith Disthai’, a Konkani music CD by the talented young duo Haston and Johnson from Byndoor, was released here at Kalaangan on Sunday, June 5 by Gurkar of Mandd Sobhann, Eric Ozario.

“Two young singers have written and composed a high quality music album. Dolvin has composed the music and prominent singers like Gurukiran, Lavita Lobo, Prajoth D’sa, Haston Rodrigues, Joshal D’souza, Joel Rebello, Arun Dhanthi, and others have rendered their voices which indeed makes it of high quality. Overall this is a good package. All the songs are beautifully sung and are refreshing and pleasant. Let us all support these young talents.” Eric Ozario said after the release of the CD.

Music from talented

There are ten melodious numbers, written and composed by Johnson Rebeiro who works in Abudhabi and Haston Rodrigues who is pursuing sound engineering at AR Rehman’s K M institute, Chennai. Joswin D’Cunha has played guitar while saxophone by Oscar Weltha gives pleasant touch to music.

Complete composition of the music has been done by young talent M Dolvin Kolalgiri. He has done excellent composition with his creativity and talent. He is well known name in the music industry. He has composed many pleasing music tunes in Sandalwood movies. He is the music director for the upcoming Tulu movie ‘Thottilu’.

Prominent singer and music director of Sandalwood, Gurukiran has rendered his voice for the Konakani title song ‘Tum Sobith Disthai’. This happens to be the third Konkani song sung by the Gurukiran.

Other prominent singers like Prajoth D’sa, Haston Rodrigues, Joshal D’souza, M Dolvin, Joel, Maxwell, Lavita Lobo, Nihal Tauro, Arun Danthy, Mohd Iqbal and Rony Byndoor have also rendered their voices.

High quality recording & mixing

The complete CD is mixed and mastered at Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio Mangaluru, using the latest technology with the aim to attract present generation and the generation next into Konkani music. It is a world-class studio designed to produce the best sound with the latest technology. The studio is one of its kinds in the coastal region.
