Sangeeth Sardar Wilson Olivera’s 6th Konkani music album titled ‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ will be released on Wednesday January 4 during the 31st Wilson Olivera Nite at Sasthan, Udupi.

This is indeed good news to all the Konkani music lovers and fans of Wilson Olivera to begin the year 2012 with scintillating and romantic music enriched with thoughts and emotions. Being the first ever Konkani music album releasing in the year 2012, it would reach fans across India, Middle East and Great Britain.

‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ will hit the stands on January 4 in India and on January 15 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha- Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Israel, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Great Britain.

To reach maximum Konkani audience this album is being dubbed in large volumes in two different countries, India and United Arab Emirates.

Wilson Olivera has already captured the hearts of Konkani music lovers with his meaningful lyrics and melodic voice. His new album ‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ comprises of 12 super hits, romantic / sentimental / ethical which is composed of rich lyrics, tunes and music. The main spotlight of this new album is to deliver the wealthy and melodious music blend with a touch of enriched lyrics to motivate, create special interest in the old and young of our community.

A year back, when Wilson Olivera bought out his 5th album, ‘Tuvem Gaitana’ which was dedicated to Konkan Kogul Late. Wilfy Rebimbus, it made a remarkable sale in Konkani music with a whopping sale of 3,500 cds in a span of two weeks and 5,783 cds in a year. The album became not only popular among Konkani music lovers in India but also in the Middle East and Great Britain. Its marketing strategy was well planned and was successful in reaching the maximum Konkani music loving audience.

This album was the first Konkani music album dubbed in large volumes in two different countries viz, India and United Arab Emirates. The first lot in Dubai, UAE was planned for entire gulf region and was sold within two weeks time. This was later re-dubbed in the third week of the release. Now his 6th volume, ‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ has followed suit, to reach more and more Konkani music lovers in different parts of the world.

Also well known signers; Rony D’Cunha, Pradeep Pinto, Prashanth Pinto, Zeena Pereira and Babita Pinto have rendered their melodious voice in this album along with Wilson Olivera. Wilson Olivera is quite popular for his meaningful and quality lyrics.

In his previous album most of the lyrics were heart touching especially ‘Tuvem Gaitana’ a song dedicated to Konkan Kogul Late. Wilfy Rebimbus, ‘Air India Crash’ for Bajpe plane crash victims and ‘Mamma’, on his elder sister Gretta Pinto ne Olivera who expired on 4th Feb 2008, this was sung by her two sons Pradeep Pinto & Prashanth Pinto.

All these three songs were composed on real life incidents / facts which filled the listeners with teary-eyes. This album is considered as the best Konkani album of the year 2010 as per public opinion. Likewise ‘Mai’ song from Vol. 2 had also made a remarkable history in terms of lyric and tune, which was again composed on his own tragic life incident when he lost his mother.

For past three consecutive years Wilson Olivera has worked on three music albums back to back. ‘Bomboichem Chedum’, in 2009 ‘Tuven Gaitana’in 2010 and now ‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ (scheduled to release on 4th Jan 2012), have been made possible because of his meaningful lyrics, speedy compositions and immense public demand and support. It has also been learnt that, Wilson Olivera does not require much time to compose songs, for instance the songs on Air India Crash and late. Wilfy Rebimbus were composed very next day of the incident.

Wilson Olivera has been ably assisted by renowned music composer and director Sangeeth Guru Sri Joel Pereira who was one of the reasons behind the success of his previous album ‘Tuvem Gaitana’. He has composed foot tapping & soul touching music even in this album as well. This album is recorded at Rajsri Studio, Calicut and CAD Media, Mangalore.

The lyricist and singer Wilson Oilvera has already 5 albums in the market and over 800 compositions of his own and has successfully performed 30 Musical Nite’s in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Mangalore, Bangalore & Mumbai. The 31st musical show is scheduled on January 4 at Sasthan and 32nd show on February 3 in Sharjah, UAE.
